ELKHART – The driver of a pickup truck went to the hospital after striking the rear of a school bus Wednesday morning.

None of the 17 students on board the bus at the time were injured.

The crash happened at 7:24 a-m while the bus was picking up students along County Road 20 east of County Road 1 near Elkhart.

60-year-old Jennifer Crocker of Elkhart was taken to Elkhart General hospital with leg pain after her pickup hit the bus. Police cited her for following too closely.
