Westview grad commended for saving lives in Elkhart

ELKHART – A 2007 Westview High School graduate was recently commended for saving lives in Elkhart.

ABC57 reported Elkhart Police Officer Emily Lamkin received two commendations for bravery after she got tenants out of a burning apartment building, and also performed CPR on a person at the Super 8 Motel, saving their life.

Lamkin was hired as an Elkhart Police officer last year.
