Threat made at PHHS leads to student suspension
By: Tim Murray - Friday, January 24, 2020

BRUSHY PRAIRIE – A lot of talk and rumors about an alleged school threat at Prairie Heights High School Thursday.

Superintendent Jeff Reed issued a written statement to parents that he provided to us Friday afternoon which said:

“We had a student make a verbal threat at the high school. That threat was investigated by administration and law enforcement. The student is suspended and is no longer at school. We appreciate the students that brought this to our attention and as always, please encourage your child to report anything that would cause harm to another as we all strive to maintain a safe environment at Prairie Heights.“
