Drug Search Results In Arrest Of Three Rivers Man

(THREE RIVERS) – A search of a house led to the arrest of a Three Rivers man.

The Michigan State Police Southwest Enforcement Team executed a search warrant Thursday night in the 300 block of Middle Street, following an investigation involving the sales of drugs.

Police found eight individuals at the house, including a Three Rivers man who was found to have several warrants out for his arrest. In addition, officers found over an ounce of methamphetamine, heroin, a 9 millimeter hand gun and over 100 rounds of ammunition.

The man was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail. Charges will be submitted to the Prosecutor's Office after results from the crime lab have been received.

Assisting at the scene were the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department, the Three Rivers Police Department and the White Pigeon Police K-9 officer.
