(COLDWATER) – After being one of the only theaters in the nation to provide a summer season in 2020, Tibbits Summer Theater has announced their 2021 season.

The Tibbits' 2021 Summer Theater season offers a variety of shows to entertain their audiences. It will start with “The Best of Broadway', followed by “The Fantasticks”, then “You're A Good Man Charlie Brown” then concluding with “On Golden Pond”. This will be the first season under new Artistic Director Peter Riopelle.

For 2020, Tibbits staff adapted to the new guidelines of the COVID world of social distancing and mask wearing by using a beautiful outdoor venue at The Ponds of Coldwater, which is just minutes from the theater. While the hope is that the 2021 season will be back in the Tibbits Theater, Riopelle says the decision was made to plan on having the same restrictions for this year.

Riopelle says if restrictions do change and theaters can open, the show titles, dates and times will remain intact with some possible additional shows.
