(ELKHART) – Northeast Indiana authorities are investigating the death of three people.

On Friday at 4:07 PM, the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office responded to a welfare check at 23663 Spring River Drive in Elkhart. Deputies found a 47 year old man, an 18 year old woman and a 15 year old girl all dead.

Officers say there is no concern for the safety of the public at this time.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation. If anyone has any information, they can call the Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office.
