(COLDWATER) – Curbside COVID-19 testing will be happening during the month of June in Southern Michigan.

The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency says Honu will be providing no cost, weekly, curbside COVID-19 testing at the health department parking lots in Three Rivers, Coldwater and Hillsdale in June.

CHA Health Officer Rebecca Burns says the tests are being offered to provide individuals in the tri-county area the opportunity to receive rapid results within 30 minutes.

Testing in Three Rivers will be taking place on Friday's from 9 AM to 3:30 PM, in the parking lot at 1110 Hill Street, starting May 28.

Testing in Coldwater will continue to be on Thursday's from 9 AM to 3:30 PM in the parking lot at 570 Marshall Road.

Testing in Hillsdale will be from 9 AM to 3:30 PM on Friday's in the parking lot at 20 Care Drive.

Burns says testing will be available to Michigan residents on a first come, first served basis. Individuals wanting to be tested should bring an ID. No doctor's order is needed, and minors can be tested if they are calm and with a parent.

The State of Michigan is covering the cost of testing at this event. Insurance is not required and no insurance cards will be requested.
