(COLDWATER) – Two Branch County organizations are partnering to help out the community.

The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency and the Branch District Library are working together to bring COVID-19 vaccine clinics to patrons using the Agency's mobile clinic. The mobile clinic will be available at the Branch District Library's Quincy branch on June 22 from 12 PM until 3 PM; and the Coldwater branch on June 23 from 3 PM until 5 PM.

On July 16, the mobile clinic will partner with the Bronson branch at the Polish Festival in downtown Bronson from 4 until 7 PM.

The CHA will have the Pfizer and the Johnson & Johnson vaccines available at both clinic sites. Kari Nichols, Director of Personal Health and Disease Prevention says the Pfizer vaccine will be offered to anyone 12 and older in anticipation of schools and sports starting in August and September. Anyone between the ages of 12 and 18 will need a parent or guardian present to consent to a vaccine.

Second dose clinic days are already planned for all three branches.

Nichols says anyone who wants a single dose option, they will offer Johnson & Johnson vaccine to anyone over the age of 18.

Patrons will be able to walk in for vaccinations, but the CHA will also offer scheduled appointments. You can make your appointments on line. Click Here.
