(UNDATED) – Work on two sections of M-60 that runs through Branch County will start next week.

The Michigan Department of Transportation says crews will start working Tuesday on a nine mile section of M-60 from Old U.S. 27 to 24 ½ Mile Road near Tekonsha. Also, workers will be doing a seven mile portion of M-60 from the St. Joseph-Branch County Line to 8 Mile Road near Union City.

Crews will be doing crack sealing on the roadway with an asphalt hot-mix. MDOT is investing $150,000 on this project.

Motorists are being asked to watch for single lane closures and traffic regulators on M-60. Work is scheduled to be finished by September 24.
