(ELKHART) – The driver of a motorcycle was injured when he collided with another automobile.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office, 73 year old Darlene Conley-Underwood of Elkhart was turning south onto Wilson Street from Berry Street in Elkhart at 5:07 PM Saturday. Deputies say she disregarded the stop sign on Berry Street and struck a motorcycle driven by 63 year old Johnny Vance of Elkhart.

Vance was taken by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital complaining of neck and knee pain.

Underwood was not injured. She was given a citation for disregarding a stop sign.
