HOWE – A rear end collision at the entrance to Pioneer Estates on State Road 9 injured one of the drivers Saturday evening.

LaGrange County police say a car driven by 56-year-old Larry Bauder Jr. of Lagrange failed to stop for a vehicle in front of it that was waiting to turn into Pioneer Estates.

Bauder was not wearing a seat belt and suffered a broken hip. He was treated at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
A seven-year-old child in the vehicle with him was not injured.

22-year-old Gaige Reese of Howe was driving the vehicle in front and was not injured.
