STURGIS – Two people are being held on drug charges following an incident Tuesday morning.

Sturgis Police stopped two individuals at 1:25 AM in the 100 block of North Street for suspicious behavior. During the course of their investigation, officers discovered one of the subjects gave a false identification.

Officers arrested a 35 year old Mendon man for delivery of methamphetamine and a false ID. Also arrested was a 33 year old Litchfield woman for possession of methamphetamine.

Both are being held in the St. Joseph County Jail.
