Parkview chief named Sagamore of the Wabash

FORT WAYNE – Parkview Health president and CEO Michael Packnett was named a Sagamore of the Wabash by Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb last Friday.

Dave Haist, chairman of the Parkview Health Board of Directors, and John Sampson, president and CEO of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, presented the award to Packnett on behalf of Gov. Holcomb at Parkview’s quarterly leadership meeting.

The Sagamore of the Wabash award is Indiana’s highest civilian honor. It is given to exemplary Hoosiers in recognition of their distinguished statewide service.

Packnett is very active in the Fort Wayne community and serves on several boards throughout the region.
