WOLCOTTVILLE - Three teenagers from LaGrange were among six people injured Sunday evening when two vehicles collided on the LaGrange-Noble County line west of Wolcottville.
17-year-old Nicholas Slabach, 17-year-old Patrick Stahl, and 15-year-old Dakota Bruce all suffered head injuries. Slabach was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center. A Noble County Sheriff’s Department dispatcher said Stahl and Bruce were not hospitalized.
Investigators say Slabach was driving and rear-ended a car driven by 59-year-old Steven Hipsher of Fort Wayne. Hipsher’s car left the road flipped over before coming to rest in a field.
Slabach’s car continued for about one-eighth of a mile before stopping.
Hipsher suffered head injuries and went to Parkview Regional. His passengers - 50-year-old Danielle Fleurimond and 9-year-old Brody Burge of Fort Wayne - were also injured. Fleurimond suffered head injuries and Burge complained of pain.
