(UNDATED) - Gas prices are creeping closer and closer to $4 a gallon as the summer driving season is just over a month away. There was another spike of about 25 cents a gallon Tuesday. Prices in Angola, Auburn and Kendallville went up to $3.89. By comparision, the highest price in Fort Wayne according to www.indianagasprices.com was reported to be $3.64. Gas was also cheaper in Ohio. Stations in Edon and Bryan had gas for $3.69 while it was priced at $3.77 in Montpelier. The Toll Road Plaza in Steuben County had some of the most expensive gas in the state at $4.19. It was also that high in Evansville and Whiting. A station in Edinburgh had the lowest price in the state at $3.32. Indiana's average price for gas on Tuesday was $3.72 which was nine cents higher than the national average.
