(ANGOLA) - A Pleasant Lake man was formally charged on Tuesday in connection with last summer's break in of the Dam Store on 450 West. 19-year-old Roger William Raske is facing a Class C felony of burglary. According to Steuben County court documents, a total of $45 from a cash register and some cigarettes were taken in the break in on June 27th. A warrant for Raske's arrest was issued on April 1st after fingerprints gathered at the scene and a D.N.A. swab that was administered to Raske in January provided authorities with a match. Raske and another man, 20-year-old, Auston Griffin of Angola, were arrested by Angola Police on Monday afternoon in a motel parking lot on the west side of the city during a drug investigation. Griffin was booked for allegedly violating his probation in residential entry and methamphetamine possession cases. Raske was also booked on two misdemeanor drug charges. His burglary case will go through Steuben Superior Court. A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf during his initial hearing. Bond was set at $50,000. A jury trial was scheduled for June 12th.
