(ANGOLA) - Steuben County's portion of a proposed bike trail could become a reality within the next year. A meeting has been scheduled for 9:00am on May 9th so that Steuben County Commissioners can meet with County Engineer Jennifer Sharkey to review and possibly accept bids for the bike trail project. Bids have to be submitted to INDOT by May 8th. Sharkey says actual work may start by the end of June but a firmer timeline should be known once a contractor is hired. It's hoped the county's portion of the bike trail will be ready by next spring after several years of delays.
