(CONSTANTINE TOWNSHIP) – Two of the three people involved in a minivan-semi collision last week are in serious condition.
Michigan State Police from the White Pigeon Post say that 74 year old Patricia VanDyke and John VanDyke, both of Elkhart are in a Kalamazoo area hospital and both are in serious condition.
Troopers say Patricia VanDyke was driving her minivan east on Riverside Drive last Thursday at 12:15 PM and while attempting to cross U.S. 131 she pulled into the path of a northbound semi, driven by 61 year old Timothy Miller of Kalamazoo.
Miller was unable to avoid the collision and struck the minivan. He was not injured.
