(THREE RIVERS) – A Three Rivers business welcomed in a very special visitor on Monday.
Governor Rick Snyder stopped at Armstrong International to address area business leaders and key Armstrong personnel. During his one hour visit, Snyder touched on such topics as the state of economy in Michigan and his intent to run for a second term.
Snyder cited the importance of education, deteriorating roads, health care and creating more jobs as vital areas of consideration moving forward in his role as Governor. He says he is all about creating a culture in Michigan that people want to be a part of and that everyone can play a key role in creating a positive culture and unique place that people want to call home and do business.
Snyder commended Armstrong International for its long and successful history over the past 114 years.
The Governor's stop at Armstrong was one of five on the day as he also spent time in Coldwater, Marshall, Niles and Kalamazoo. Armstrong was the lone manufacturing facility he visited along his campaign trail throughout southwest Michigan.
