(BREMEN) - A Indiana State Police Master Trooper who has served at the Bremen Post for many years is getting set to retire. Dan Ringer has been with the State Police for 34 years and has logged more than a million miles behind the wheel. Ringer will make his final drive to Indianapolis as a trooper in August to turn in his uniform and car. At one time in his career, Ringer was stationed at the Ligonier Post before it closed in 1982. After getting his private pilot’s license, Ringer was active in the Marijuana Eradication Program as he helped spot marijuana from the air.
