Another Change...Trine Commencement Moved Back To Hershey Hall

(ANGOLA) - Northeast Indiana's fickle spring weather has forced another change in plans for Trine University's commencement. With the National Weather Service putting a 20 percent chance of showers back into the forecast for Saturday morning, university officials have decided to hold commencement indoors at Hershey Hall starting at 10:00am. There was also a forecast for showers on Friday which could have hampered set up work for a ceremony outside. The university was hoping to hold an outdoors ceremony for a second straight year on Saturday. They announced Wednesday that commencement was going to be inside then made a change on Thursday back to an outdoors ceremony at Zollner Stadium when the forecast called for a dry day. But officials did not want to take a chance with a revised forecast which called for a chance of showers so they decided Friday morning to move the commencement back to Hershey Hall.
