(UNDATED) - The Steuben County Commissioners race was not the only one where an incumbent was defeated on Tuesday. Four LaGrange County incumbents did not survive Republican Primaries.

Superior Court Judge George Brown was beaten by Lisa Bowen-Slaven by an almost 3-2 margin.

Prosecutor Jeff Wible lost to former Prosecutor Tim Cain.

Garry Heller finished second to current Sheriff Terry Martin for Heller's seat on the County Commission.

County Council member Richard Yoder lost to former Council Member Harold Gingerich.

In Noble County, Prosecutor Stephen Clouse was beaten by challenger Eric Blackman while Bernie Lawson defeated County Council member Wayne Clouse.

In a couple of other contested races, Jeff Campos won the Republican Primary for LaGrange County Sheriff while Michael Gerber won the G.O.P. Primary for DeKalb County Coroner.

In Branch County, voters in Quincy passed a pair of school proposals which will improve facilities and technology, purchase school buses and add an auxiliary gym, a locker room and fitness center at Quincy High School.
