Home sales dip in April across NE Indiana

UNDATED – April home sales were down everywhere in Northeast Indiana except LaGrange County.
The number of homes sold in LaGrange County last month equaled April of 2013 with 21 changing hands. The median sales price of $112,000 was up 29 percent from a year ago.
Sales in Steuben County dropped 28% to 33 homes. The median price of $94,750 was down 21%.
31 homes sold in Noble County during the month, down 29% from a year ago. The median price rose nearly 16% to $114,500.
In Elkhart County there were 141 homes sold, a decrease of 25%. DeKalb County sales were off 65% as just 8 homes sold during April.
The Indiana Association of Realtors says sales in all of Indiana were off 7.7 percent, but the median price rose 3.4 percent to $123,000. Supply remained tight but was improving
