(ANGOLA) - The City of Angola is looking at installing as many as ten new street lights. The City Council on Monday night is expected to ask Council Members Dave Martin and Kathy Armstrong, who serve on the Waterworks and Electric Lights Committee, to review and determine if the proposed street lights are needed. The proposed locations are:
* West Maumee at McKinley * West Mill at Tamarack Drive * Wohlert at Hoosier Drive * Pine Run at Mechanic * Apple Hill Way at Mark Drive * East Maumee at North Martha * South Wayne at Lange Lane * Bluffview Drive at Stony Ridge Drive * Redding Lane at Inglenook Place * Bluffview Drive at Springhill Drive
Also on Monday's agenda, the Council is scheduled to consider adding the Y.M.C.A. of Steuben County to its list for 2015 grants and subsidies.
They are also scheduled take up the the Angola Plan Commission's positive recommendation to the rezoning of nearly four acres of land at the southwest corner of Calvary Lane and Williams Street for a possible future residential development of townhouses.
