(ANGOLA) - An Indiana summer time tradition will continue this weekend on the Trine University campus. The American Legion will be hosting Hoosier Boys State for a sixth straight year at Trine starting on Sunday afternoon. Hoosier Boys State gives high school juniors from around Indiana a chance to get a first hand look at how the American political process works. Delegates will select various office holders including a Governor for Hoosier Boys State. The week long event started in 1937 at Butler University. It's been held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, the Indiana State School for the Deaf, Indiana University and Indiana State University where it was held for four decades before moving to Trine in 2009.
