(STURGIS) – A tense situation resolved itself without any incidents on Sturgis' northeast side Friday afternoon.
Sturgis Police were called to the 600 block of Devonshire Street in the Sherwood Forest neighborhood on a report of a 30 year old suicidal man who was armed with a handgun. The first officers on scene were able to make contact with the individual via the telephone while other officers set up a perimeter and evacuated nearby residences as a precaution.
