(FLOWERFIELD TOWNSHIP) – A Three Rivers man is in jail after leading authorities on a chase Sunday night.
Michigan State Police from the White Pigeon Detachment were sent to the area of Null and Pulver Roads in Flowerfield Township at 6:30 PM Sunday to investigate a civil complaint between a man and a woman. While at the scene, the trooper says the 42 year old man drove by in his pick up truck.
The trooper attempted to stop the subject in order to speak with him about the non criminal complaint. The man refused to stop and led the trooper on a brief chase.

Once the suspect vehicle was stopped the driver was arrested and charged with fleeing and eluding; possessing a forged or altered license plate, parole violation, operating a motor vehicle with no insurance, a third offense of driving on a suspended license and malicious destruction of property.
