City Council Scheduled To Approve INDOT Traffic Signal Agreement

(ANGOLA) - The Angola City Council will be asked to approve an agreement with INDOT on Monday for the installation of traffic signals that would turn green for emergency vehicles. The signals would be along North Wayne Street and U.S. 20. The federal government will pay 90 percent of the project costs up to $274,500.
Also on Monday's packed agenda, the Council is scheduled to approve a consulting contract with A and Z Engineering for the Carlin Park Safe Routes to School project in an amount not to exceed $27,540.
They are also scheduled to discuss the 2014 Pleasant Township Fire Protection Agreement.
