(STURGIS) – A section of a Sturgis street is now open for traffic.
City Officials says South Nottawa Street from U.S. 12 to Congress Street is open for travel. The street officially opened back up for use on Friday.
Crews removed the old bricks and then put in a better base and put in new bricks back on the street. The bricks are supposed to last longer than the previous ones. The street was also striped for the turn lane going west onto U.S. 12
With the re-opeing of this section of South Nottawa, Pleasant Avenue will return to one way traffic southbound only and South Monroe will return to “No Parking” on the west side of the street starting Monday, July 7.
