(NEVADA MILLS) - Two motorcyclists are recovering from their injuries following a Monday afternoon accident north of Nevada Mills. The two vehicle accident took place at about 3:50pm on State Road 120 and 450 West. The Steuben County Sheriffs Department investigated the accident. No accident report was available Tuesday but the Orland American Legion Riders identified the injured pair in a posting on their Facebook page as Joe Scardino and his girlfriend Connie Puthoff.
The Legion Riders say they will be okay but they suffered broken bones, stitches, bumps, bruises and lots of road rash but will recover completely in time. Scardino and Puthoff were taken to Cameron Hospital where they were treated and released.
The Sheriffs Department were assisted at the accident scene by Indiana State Police, Steuben County E.M.S. and Orland Fire and Rescue.
