(ANGOLA) - Angola has not exactly been the sun and fun capital of the world over the last couple of days. For those who like their summer weather sunny and hot, this has been a bummer summer so far which follows on the heels of a record setting harsh winter.
June was a soggy month in Angola as the Weather Channel says the city got over six inches of rain. Angola got rain on nine of the last 12 days of the month. High temperatures were below 80 on 14 days. There were two days when highs did not get out of the 60's and a couple of nights when lows dipped into the forties.
The high temperature has been below 80 on 10 of the first 16 days of July. There have been six nights in which the lows dipped into the 50's. There could be record lows on Wednesday night as lows are forecast to get into the upper forties.
But don't take the docks out just yet. The extended forecast is calling for highs to get back into the more seasonal low to mid 80's next week.
