(ANGOLA) - M.S.D. of Steuben County Superintendent Doctor Brent Wilson said during Tuesday nights Board of Trustees meeting that the district will not have an increase in its health insurance premium for a second straight year. He says that's rare in this day and age as the average increase is between 10 and 12 percent. Wilson said the M.S.D. of Steuben County is part of a group of seven school corporations that offer over 1,000 plans which in turn helps keep health insurance costs down. He said Fremont Community Schools joined the consortium this year.
In other business, the board approved a $6,100 Dekko Foundation grant that will be used to fund an arts project at Angola Middle School.
