INDIANAPOLIS - A pair of Lake County judges say Indiana’s Right To Work Law is unconstitutional.
Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller will seek an immediate stay of the latest ruling by Special Judge George Paras. The A-G wants the law to remain in effect as he prepares an appeal.
The law passed in 2012 makes it illegal to require workers to pay union fees as a condition of employment.
Zoeller is already appealing last September’s ruling by Lake Superior Court Judge John Sedia that the law was unconstitutional. Sedia stayed that ruling while the appeal continues.
