(CENTREVILLE) – A Burr Oak woman has entered into a plea agreement after being arrested for having sexually explicit material on her cell phone.
St. Joseph County District Court officials say 33 year old Meadow Woodman entered into the plea agreement Thursday in which she will be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She will be setenced September 29 in District Court.
Woodman was originally charged with possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime following an investigation earlier this year by Michigan State Police, who were contacted to look into a sexting incident.
A Burr Oak Public Schools student came forward with an explicit video involving two students who filmed themselves engaged in a sexual act. The student told Troopers that Woodman asked that the video be sent to her so she could send it around herself.
A second video was found by police of a student using electric leads attached to his body to deliver electric stimulus.
Woodman has served as a Senior Class adviser at Burr Oak High School and as a volunteer volleyball coach. Woodman is no longer associated with the school, but maintains her seat on the Burr Oak Village Council.
