(ANGOLA) - Chapman's Brewing Company has become the first company to utilize the Angola Investment Fund to help with its future growth. The A.I.F. will invest $100,000 to help Chapman's reach its goal of raising $2 million for its next expansion phase.
The City of Angola established the A.I.F. last year and has committed $1 million in an attempt to attract start up companies and entrepreneurs to the area. The A.I.F. was set up thanks to the use of Major Moves funds.
The company currently has eight employees including a brew master, assistant brew master and product managers.
Chapman's C.E.O. and Founder Scott Ferguson is projecting employment to grow to 20 sometime in the near future. They are also hoping to eventually become a regional brewery and have a full time tasting room in Angola.
