(LIGONIER) - A Kimmel man was flown out and four other persons were injured Sunday morning in Ligonier when their car ran off the road and struck a tree head on. The Noble County Sheriffs Department says the accident happened at about 2:45am on 750 West just north of 500 North.
The driver, 26-year-old Cody Harroff, had possible neck and back injuries. He was flown by the Samaritan Helicopter to Parkview Regional Medical Center. Four passengers were injured. Three were taken to Parkview Regional by ambulance. Investigators think speed was a factor in the crash.
The Sheriff's Department got assistance from Ligonier Police along with firefighters from Ligonier and Sparta Township, Campbells Garage and Parkview Noble E.M.S..
