(STEUBEN TOWNSHIP) - Three boys between the ages of 10 and 13 were apprehended on Saturday after the alleged burglary of a home in Steuben Township. The Steuben County Sheriffs Department says the residents of a home in the 3400 block of South Meridian Road had left at about 8:30am Saturday morning. When they returned at about 4:30pm, they discovered the home had been ransacked. Deputies found evidence that indicated the incident may have just recently taken place and the suspects may still be on foot. Detectives were called in and through the course of the investigation, the young suspects were found and apprehended. Their ages are 10, 12 and 13. The incident is still under investigation. The Sheriffs Department got assistance from Angola and Hamilton police, the Indiana State Police, the Indiana D.N.R. and the Steuben County Probation Department.
