(THREE RIVERS) – Three of the seven candidates vying for the job of Three Rivers Schools Superintendent will have their interviews tonight.
Last week, the Three Rivers Board of Education along with their consultant, Gary Rider, Regional President of the Michigan Leadership Institute, narrowed down the list of candidates from twenty-six to seven.
The first three interviews will be with Tim Staffen, CTE Principal of the Calhoun County ISD at 4:30 PM; John Stryker, Superintendent of New Lothrop Area Public Schools at 5:45 PM and then Mike Corey, Superintendent of Mesik Consolidated Schools at 7 PM. Corey is also a finalist for the Colon Schools Superintendent position.
The public is invited to all of the interviews and are strongly encouraged to attend. Their feedback will be valuable to the Board during this selection process. All interviews will take place in the Three Rivers Administration Building at 851 Sixth Avenue.
More candidate interviews will be held on Wednesday and again on Thursday.
Current Three Rivers Superitendent Roger Rathburn announced he would be retiring at the end of the 2013-2014 school year.
