(WATERLOO) - A Waterloo couple was arrested on Sunday night when the Waterloo Marshal's Office says they found methamphetamine and components to make meth inside of a garage. According to a news release from the Waterloo Marshal's Office, officers were conducting a security check of a local factory when they detected a chemical odor coming from a nearby garage on West Street. Police say they found numerous components of an operational meth lab along with HCL generators, a pair of one pot ammonia reaction vessels and precursors. 42-year-old Keith Secrest and 40-year-old Melissa Secrest were both arrested on four felony charges. The Department of Child Services were called to the scene to provide services to three youngsters between the ages of eight and 17. The DeKalb County Sheriffs Department, the Indiana State Police Drug Suppression Team and the Indiana State Child Protective Services assisted the Marshal's Office.
