(ANGOLA) - Angola's newest retail store will officially have a grand opening next Monday but management at Hobby Lobby have decided to have what is called a soft opening this week to make sure everything is working. The doors opened for the first customers on Monday. It's the first time the building in the Country Fair Shopping Plaza has been open to the public since the old Scott's Foods store shut down in July of 2009. The Angola Area Chamber of Commerce will help kick off the opening of the new Hobby Lobby store with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:00am Monday morning. The 56,000 square foot building is Hobby Lobby's 23rd store in Indiana. They will have between 35 and 50 employees. The pay is $14 per hour for full time employees and $9.50 an hour for part-timers. Hobby Lobby will be open Monday through Saturdays from 9:00am until 8:00pm. All Hobby Lobbys are closed on Sundays.
