(UNDATED) - This is spring? The first day of Spring was last Thursday but there was snow Tuesday morning followed by temperatures in the low teens on Wednesday morning. While temperatures are expected to warm into the 50's on Sunday, a state climatologist says you may have to put up with colder than normal temperatures this spring. Analysis provided by Purdue-based associate state climatologist Ken Scheeringa indicates the average temperatures in Indiana could by two to 4 1/2 degrees below normal in April. In addition, temperatures could be as much as 2.7 degrees below normal on average through the month of June. The average February temperature in Indiana was below normal by almost nine degrees. It's running 6.6 degrees below normal so far in March.
