ALBION - Bail is set at $100,000 for a Kendallville man facing three felony charges following a traffic stop.
49-year-old James Cougill is charged with a class A felony of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of meth, and receiving stolen property.
On April 3 police allegedly found 103 grams of meth in Cougill’s car and residence in the 500 block of Oak Crest Drive. They also found ledgers, scales, firearms, cash and a safe. Two of the guns were stolen according to police.
The dealing charge carries a potential sentence of 20 to 50 years.
Several state and federal agencies assisted Kendallville Police and the Noble County Sheriff’s Department with the investigation.
