(ALBION) - A pursuit that started in Noble County which police say reached speeds as high as 100 miles an hour ended near Fish Lake Thursday morning with the arrests of two persons. The LaGrange County Sheriffs Department says an Indiana State Police Trooper tried to make a traffic stop on a White Ford Taurus in Kendallville when the vehicle refused to stop. LaGrange County Deputies caught up with the pursuit in the area of 600 South State Road 3. The chase eventually went to 500 East when the driver started to take several county roads. The vehicle eventually crashed in the yard of 1820 South 485 East. Police say the driver then tried to run into a wooded area but was caught and arrested. Taken into custody was the driver who was identified as Mark J. Frye of LaGrange. A passenger who was identified as Katrina Kelly of Kendallville was also arrested. Both were taken to the Noble County Jail on multiple charges. Frye is expected to face charges in LaGrange County for Resisting Law Enforcement. Police say the driver was seen throwing items out of the vehicle associated with the Manufacturing of Methamphetamine. Agencies involved in the pursuit included the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police along police from Kendallville, Avilla, Lagrange, Shipshewana, and Wolcottville.
