(HAMILTON) - Four persons including three from out of state were arrested on methamphetamine related charges Friday morning at a home in the 4100 block of East Bellfountaine Road near Hamilton. The Steuben County Sheriffs Department says they were called when a suspicious vehicle was reported in the driveway of the home just after 7:00am. Police says found four persons inside along with items commonly associated with the making of meth. Detectives from the Sheriffs Department and the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section’s Clandestine Lab Team were called in. According to a Sheriffs Department news release, a search warrant was obtained and more items commonly associated with the manufacture of Meth along with suspected Meth and drug paraphernalia were found. Arrested were 36-year-old Aaron S. Brown of Pleasant Lake, 34-year-old Leslie J. Swindell of Waldron, Michigan, 34-year-old Joseph Cotrell of Bryan, Ohio and 39-year-old Amy J. Miller of Edgerton, Ohio. Miller had a warrant out of Williams County for an alleged drug offense. Among the charges filed against the four suspects were Class A felonies for possession of meth and Class B felonies for manufacturing meth. All four were booked into the Steuben County Jail and were being held in lieu of a $157,500 bond. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Indiana State Police and the Hamilton Town Marshal’s Office.
