It won’t be long before we start bringing you high school scores again.
The fall sports season gets underway today with the first day of fall practice for Indiana high schools. Student athletes must have their physicals and paperwork completed before they can practice.

MLB:
White Sox 10, Philadelphia 5 – With Leury García hitting his first career grand slam to help the offense score as many runs as it had in its previous five games combined and the relief corps rolling along as the best in the Majors over the last three weeks, the White Sox have reason to be optimistic as they departed Philadelphia for a four-game series in Detroit.
Cleveland 6, LA Angeles 2 – Jason Kipnis hits a solo HR to give the Indians a 3-1 lead over the Angels and Cleveland beat Los Angeles 6-2
Texas 9, Detroit 4 – The Rangers beat the Tigers, 9-4 with Pedro Payano, Emmanuel Clase, Brett Martin and Rafael Montero on the mound Sunday afternoon at Globe Life Park. That’s three rookies -- including one making his Major League debut -- and one veteran who missed all of 2018 because of injury.
Cubs 7, Milwaukee 2 – Jason Heyward hits a solo HR to give the Cubs a 1-1 tie with the Brewers and Chicago beat Milwaukee 7-2.

MWL:
Fort Wayne 8, West Michigan 0
South Bend 8, Great Lakes 6
