(CENTREVILLE) – For the second time this week, the Glen Oaks men's basketball team has signed a graduate of Eastpoint High School to play for the Vikings. Glen Oaks Head Coach David Victor says Cedric Poole has signed his letter of intent to join the Vikings for the 2020-21 season. Poole is a 6'2 guard who was named to the Macomb Area Conference Silver All Conference Team. He averaged 16.2 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game this past season. Poole had a career high 33 points in a game against Hazel Park and a career high 21 rebounds in a game against Marysville. Earlier this week, Glen Oaks signed guard Davion Holloway, also of Eastpoint High School to play in the upcoming season. Victor says both players bring a winning mindset after helping Eastpoint win a conference championship, and he looks for them to continue their winning ways with Glen Oaks. Eastpointe went 18-4 before losing to Detroit Martin Luther King in the District semifinals in March.
