Will Tschetter commits to Michigan for 2021

(ANN ARBOR) – The University of Michigan men's basketball 2021 recruiting class is well underway. The Wolverines added their second commitment Monday morning when Will Tschetter announced his decision via his high school's Twitter account. Listed at 6 foot 8 and 225 pounds, Tschetter is a three-star recruit who is ranked No. 149 overall, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Tschetter's recruitment took off this spring, as he earned offers from Arkansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Virginia Tech, Nebraska and Cincinnati. As a junior at Stewartville High School in Minnesota, he averaged 33.6 points and 11 rebounds. He shot 60% and made 45% of his 3s (67 of 149). He led the state in scoring and had the 10th-highest scoring output in state history. Tschetter is the second commitment in Michigan's 2021 class, joining four-star wings Isaiah Barnes, who committed to the Wolverines on June 24.
