(STURGIS) – Sturgis Police say a suspect has been arrested following a number of breaking and entering incidents.
Sturgis Director of Public Safety Ryan Banaszak says on October 14, the Sturgis Police handled a number of breaking and entering complaints in the downtown area of the City.
Over the next several days officers worked to develop a suspect. On Wednesday, they arrested a 43 year old Sturgis resident on multiple charges including possession of stolen property, breaking and entering, larceny from a building and parole violation, along with several unrelated warrants.
Banaszak says officers were able to recover a large portion of the stolen property and will be seeking additional charges. The suspect is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail.
