IN. State Police Looking For Recruits For 82nd Police Academy

(INDIANAPOLIS) – If you have always wanted a career in law enforcement, the Indiana State Police is looking for you.

The ISP is accepting additional applications for the 82nd Recruit Academy. Individuals who are interested in beginning a rewarding career as an Indiana State Trooper must apply online. Click Here. This website will provide a detailed synopsis of the application process as well as information on additional career opportunities with the Indiana State Police.

If you have already applied for the 82nd Recruit Academy, you do not need to reapply.

Applications must be submitted electronically by 11:59 PM on Wednesday, September 29. Applications submitted after the deadline will not accepted.

If selected to proceed in the selection process, applicants will complete the Physical Abilities Test, Written Examination, and Oral Interview in one weekend. Testing will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 2 and October 3, 2021, at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield, IN. Applicants must pass each phase of the selection process to continue to the next phase. Further details and instructions will be sent by email to applicants by the end of business September 30, 2021.
