Three People Injured In Two Vehicle Collision

(SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP) – Authorities say intoxicants were a factor in a two vehicle crash that injured three men in Cass County’s Silver Creek Township.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, 53 year old Jake Baker of Berrien Center was driving north on Indian Lake Road at 8:10 PM Friday. Baker entered the intersection at M-62 and struck a vehicle driven by 31 year old Arturo Morales-Fiscal who was turning onto M-62.

Fiscal was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries. Baker and his passenger, 57 year old Anthony Curtis of Berrien Center, were treated at the scene and released.

All three men were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.

Assisting deputies at the scene were the Indian Lake Fire Department, the Pokagon Band Tribal Police Department and Pride Care Ambulance.
